Custom Page template with comments form

Hello,

I’de like to be able to select a custom template when publishing a new page that would consist of a comment form. Some pages that i publish i would like there to be a comment for, while the majority of the pages will remian with no comment form (as coded in page.php)

How can i set this up? would i be correct assuming i will be making a duplicate of page.php calling it page2.php, adding the comment form script at the bottom and somewhere at the top of this new document declare it a template to be used with new pages?
