Custom Page Templates, no menu in attributes in Edit Page?

    OK… moved a site to a new server, all is well, EXCEPT… the custom page template isn’t showing up.

    It’s on the server… but:

    1) There is no Page Template menu in the Attributes in the Edit Page screen. The Screen Options don’t offer to display it, though Attibutes are displaying.

    2) Page Template shows up in the Quick Edit options, but only displays the Default Template.

    Most of my pages use a custom template and they all seem to be “reset” to Default Template.

    any ideas?

    Actually, not all is well, but it’s because of the missing template…

    This is what I do when that happens to me.
    go to appearance > themes > select another theme > save it. Then, activate your theme back.

    Yep, that does it for me, too. Just like having to sometimes redo the permalinks settings when you upgrade or move to a new server (or both) during developement -> go live cycles… marking this resolved now.
