Custom pages

  • Hi,

    I Have read multiple posts about people that have different edited pages. I overheard somewhere that they could choose on the page what kinda template they wanna use.

    Is this a mod or something? Or is this possible cause it’s a framework?

  • Its a part of WordPress actually. You need different page templates in you WordPress theme to be able to use different page template for different pages.

    You can easily create new page templates, there are several tutorials about how to do it. Once you create a new page template, and add it to your WordPress theme – you would see an option to select the page template on the right side of the page, when you create a new page.

    This post is a good example of beginner tutorial for Custom WordPress pages. It even has screenshots for what I explained above.

    It worked , thanks for that ??

    Still I have another question though that isn’t so easy to understand. My output of the editor is running trough the borders of my div.

    In firebug I checked if it positioned in the div that it’s supposed to be and it is.

    The link is pcmspot.com where the fourth message is the one that breaks out of the div. Is this something in the style of wordpress that is causing this?
