I’m trying to set up a payment page for customers to pay an invoice. I need for them to be able to submit their payment amount.

    How do I do this?

    Thanks!

    Hello @synergeticweb,

Thank you for using Direct Stripe.

I would suggest to use an e-commerce solution that will manage invoices, Direct Stripe is a fast payments solution that doesn’t support all e-commerces features.

In the case you want to use Direct Stripe, I see two solutions :

    – write a plugin that will link invoices amount with buttons amount
    – use a donation button and check manually that invoices are correctly paid.

    Best wishes,

    Nicolas

Thanks – I’m actually not looking for something as complicated as an invoicing or ecommerce system. The way that donations work is exactly what I’m looking for, but it can’t say donation. Instead of a “donation amount” it would be a “payment amount”.

Maybe this is something you could include in future versions. It has many use cases.

    Hello @synergeticweb,

It doesn’t have to say donation, all texts are editable in the button settings and you can manage the text around the button.

Let me know if you find non-editable text like “Donation” on front-end users screen.

    Best regards,

    Nicolas
