custom permalink

Hello,
plugin only working on default link type. /%postname%/ and others are not working. it gives 404 error
here is the examples
in default mode
sitename.com/?movie=matrix
it is workingsitename.com/?/%postname%/
sitename.com/movies/matrix/
not working
