  • I’m having the same problem ??

I have WordPress at /wp/ and my main website as ./ so it tries to include /wp/ as part of the URL even though I want it to be /permalink/ instead of /wp/permalink/ ??

I can’t help with this problem, and it definitely sounds like an issue, but lets keep in mind this is a free plugin made by someone in their free time, with no promise of compensation.

If the problem needs immediate rectification, you need to hire a developer.

I would assume that’s the expectation for every single plugin in the directory…

Peter B, if WordPress installations depend on developers who consider that they can release bugs into the world and not take any responsibility for the consequences, then it would be better to abandon WordPress. Fortunately the developer in question does seem to take responsibility. The problem is that he is ignoring the official WordPress support forum. But he does seem to be responding to bug reports at his personal site which I just found.

    Hey guys,

Yeah, I’m sorry, I have real trouble tracking the WP forums – I’m flat out trying to make a living lately, and don’t have much time to monitor. I really should find a way to hook up the RSS feeds to email so I don’t have to go trawling, but I haven’t done it yet.

So, I have to ask – have you tried 0.7.2? This is meant to to address that issue, but if it’s definitely not working, I better have another look at it.

Thank you, Michael. I realise it is difficult to keep up. A Google alert for “Custom Permalinks” might help you.

I have just upgraded to 0.7.2 and it seems to be working correctly for me, now with WP 3.1.3. Thank you for fixing the problem.

    Glad to help!

(Yes, I thought of doing that, but my main issue is the sheer volume of support requests in assorted places – I’d never expected it to become quite this popular =)

I’ve upgraded and seems to be working fine for me right, thanks Michael!
