Custom permalinks for private pages

I have my permalinks set to “day and name” (i.e. https://www.domain.com/2017/04/24/sample-post/) for my blog posts. Unfortunately, this also affects any pages I set up using the customer area plugin (i.e. https://www.domain.com/customer-area/pages/my-pages/2017/04/14/portal-home/). I would like the URL of private pages to be more like https://www.domain.com/customer-area/pages/portal-home/ . Is it possible to have private pages use a different permalink structure from that set for the rest of the site? Perhaps be adding some code to functions.php?
