Custom permalinks menu

  • I am creating a menu for my website and it has very complex drop-down menus that all lead to static pages. I went to the route of creating a new function that spits all the markup out(everything is static so far) but I would like to build it so if I ever change the permalink structure, I would not have to go over the function and modify all of the links.

    I am very new to WP and would like a helping hand. Is there anything that could do what I want?
