• Willing to pay! I need a plugin or modification that will allow me to charge users to post articles. What I have in mind is to use PayPal’s IPN to allow users to buy article “credits”. Whenever a user posts an article a credit is subtracted. If a user doesn’t have any credits available they will be taken to a Buy More Credits page.

Please email me at [email protected] if you would be interested in taking on this project.

  • Just a side note: the footer says “Design by Michael Spredemann.” – unless I am very much mistaken this should be “Design by Michael Heilemann.”

it’s just a test site at this time. I am in the process of converting it to my own design. I wasn’t trying to take credit for anyone else’s work or to be an asshat.

Interesting concept. I’m curious as to why someone would pay to post articles when there are some very inexpensive WP hosts out there. I guess they are the types who just want to write, and not be bothered with set up and site design.

it is actually part of a newswire/PR type service.

I would be willing to do some commision work, but I need more info. email me at [email protected] if you are still looking for someone.

Scubaguy, how about saying “Design by Michael Spredemann, based on a design by by Michael Heilemann.” (with “Michael Heilemann linked back to his page, of course)? It’s far more polite and just about every WP user knows Kubrick and will come down on you like football-sized hail if you don’t give Mr. Heilemann some credit.

I’m quick, but I don’t think I could dodge that much football-sized hail. I’ll be sure to give Michael Heilemann his due credit. When it all goes live.

I am willing to release this back to the community for free once it is created too.
