Custom Post Author

  • Hi

    I’ve searched in the plugins and in forums for this, but with no sucess, so I’ve decided to create a topic…

    Is it possible to change the author of a post? I mean, its possible to change to another author that’s regiestered in the blog, but what I want is to insert a custom name. I just type the name and thats the author even if the author isnt registered in the blog.

    If anyone knows a plugin or some hack to do this, please, let me know…

  • Instead of using a plugin, why not just create a new user in your blog and just choose that new user’s name from dropdown in Page Author section of Write/Manage Edit > Post or Write/Manage Edit > Page area.
