Custom post – capabilities

Hi there,

I have a project where I have a custom post type, where each post is assigned to a user. So the user can edit this one post, and nothing else.

I’ve setup the capabilities following this instructions: https://justintadlock.com/archives/2010/07/10/meta-capabilities-for-custom-post-types (Thanks Justin). Everything is ok, works. But I can’t set the post author to a “regular” user. When I edit the post the “author” drop down lists just the administrator user(s).

So the question is how to I make wordpress let me set the author as a regular user? I tried granting them acces to add custom posts, edit_others, delete… still I can’t set them as authors.

Any indications would be greatly apreciated.
