Custom post type?

    Could the uploaded items (photos) be registered as posts or custom post types? If not, what are they? I have a grid plugin for displaying my posts and would like to include the media uploads as well. Thanks.

  • Generally, WordPress have five default post types post, page, revision, nav_menu_items, and attachment
    WordPress media goes in post type attachment.

    Because rtMedia follow WordPress structure so all rtMedia uploaded media goes in attachment post type.
