Custom post type and order by custom field

  • Hi guys I installed your calendar plugin looks great BUT:

    I created a custom post type called EVENTS
    This post type has 2 custom fields called: start date , end date

    I would like to show on the calendar the post type EVENT sorted by Start date.

    Is that possible?

    somehow I get the post type to work but posts are not shown for publish date or any other date.

    I posted today and my post went to 27/11/2015 date don’t know why
