Custom Post Type, Custom Featured Image

  • I’ve had the joy of taking over a site, they have custom post type, patterns, this has 500+ entries, all with a custom field for featured image.

    Rather than going through each one, and copying the link from the custom post type featured image and pasting in the Post Grid custom image field, can I just direct the code to read straight from the custom post type featured image?

    Do you still need the old custom field? Otherwise it would probably be easiest to just rename that existing custom field to “wpupg_custom_image” in the wp_postmeta table.
