Custom Post Type + Customizer

I have created a custom post type and am not using the standard WordPress ‘Posts’. When I open up the WordPress Customizer, changing the Archives and Entries Layout doesn’t seem to have an effect. I have selected the Full Width layout, but the sidebar doesn’t go away. The other options seem to work fine. Here’s an image of what I’m talking about: Theme Customizer
