So, I have merged two installations of WordPress into one.

The one being merged was using posts to display videos, as it was created long before custom post types even existed. I imported the posts from that install to a new custom post type called videos. Their taxonomies didn’t import properly, but that one’s not an issue.

The issue is simple – I cannot paginate my videos at all. I had page-navi appear automatically on the taxonomy archive page and, of course, it was showing the first eighteen videos on each page.

What I would like is to show eighten or twenty-four videos per archive page; and perhaps to have the front page of the videos archive be something other than the archive template. What kind of pagination do I need?

Also, once I’ve re-made the taxonomies for the videos, would I need even more rules? The taxonomies would be video categories and video tags; for categorization purposes only.

    Thank you. ??
