Use a custom post type with slug rewrite , when editing a custom post type the yoast snippet shows, but removes the slug rewrite, the slug rewrite does show correctly on the wordpress permalink edit.
This causes, I think, that once published, the snippet title and description entered manually won’t shown, the default Yoast Search Appearance description and title show correctly, but not what I enter in the snippet. I think is related to not recognizing the correct url.
My custom post type shows like domain.com/wordslug-rewrite/custom-post-type-slug
On the snippet yoast snippet shows like domain.com/custom-post-type-slug
    Any help is appreciated

    Hi,

I have a potentially related problem.

I use republish old post. When the trigger publish event option is used, Yoast automatically renamed the slug to the title of the post and changes the permalinks upon republishing.

Is there a way to tell Yoast not to automatically change the slug?
