    Hi,

Is there a way to allow or block ad blocks to show to custom post types ? For example we want to show ads AFTER blog posts but NOT after some plugin custom post types.

If the above is not possible, how can we block at least the ads to some pages (using url and wildcards maybe) ?

    Thanks

    Hi MassimoD,

yes, it is possible to show or hide ads on custom post type pages. Just use the “Post Type” condition in the Display Conditions for that. Or you can also show/hide ads on specific pages, independent from their post type using the “Specific Pages” condition.

Let me know if that helped.

    Hello.

Thanks for the reply. I have tried those and don’t work well apparently because of the specific plugin (Anspress, Questions and Answers).

For example it shows the Ads in EVERY Answer in the same page, and each page can have 5-10 answers. So …

I’m still looking for a way to solve this (or i will have to manually inject it to the template).

In order to understand the problem (apparently due to the Anspress design), in Anspress plugin there is ONE page with a shortcode and that’s it.

    So, not easy to control.

So they don’t create the pages automatically, but you have to create a page and place a shortcode into it manually? In that case, the page would be of the “page” post type.

What would you like to accomplish? Hide all ads from pages with that shortcode?

    Thanks

Thomas i don’t want to bother you more with this.

It is how this QA/Forum plugin works. There are no pages of WP but Anspress creates them.

I will try to find a solution.

    Thank you

OK. It looks like a great plugin, but unfortunately, still too small for us to put extra work into it. Maybe answers are other custom post types and you need two rules.
