Custom Post Types in Magazine Widgets

    Hello,

    First off, love the theme! I did have a quick question about custom post types using the Magazine Homepage widgets. In short, I can’t get any of my posts to show up on the home page that aren’t of the type “post.” In my circumstance, I have a type of “movie.” I’m of medium level on WordPress development, but I think it may be because the widgets extend WP_Widget, which by default don’t support custom post types. I would appreciate any help, just to be sure. Thanks!

    Thanks for using Poseidon.

    Yes, currently only normal posts are supported. We try to make the widgets more extensible in the next months with a few updates by adding filters to change the widget’s content with a child theme.

    Right now it would only possible by creating your own widgets in a child theme based on the original ones.
