Any other plugin that you installed? It’s weird because I extract that information using WordPress functions, so it shouldn’t crash.

It is possible that other plugin updates introduced this bug. So all other plugins were removed and the issue persists. I was thinking of examining the post type taxonomies for corruption but am unsure where to start.

Another option is to restored weekly backups to a temporary site to find the point in time of failure. This would be quite tedious.

It’s weird. I have not updated anything, I don’t know how can i help you, maybe looking the DB, or do you know if this happened since the update to WP 4.3?

WP 4.3 might be a good point in time to start looking. I have site backups going back that far. Will let post findings when I know more.

    Thanks

Yes please, I’m a little busy right now to test myself. If you confirm that, I would find some time to fix it ASAP.

    Miguel,

I am experiencing the same issue. I’m using the widget and selecting my custom post types, but all generated links point to the default post archive pages, not my custom post type archive pages. I’ve not tried this with the shortcode.

I’m using the ‘types’ plugin to create post types, and have checked through that plugin’s settings to ensure everything is set properly. I’ve also disabled other plugins on the site to ensure nothing is conflicting, with no effect.

For now, I’m using another widget to simply list post type archives by month, but we’re really missing the jquery dropdown functionality. We’d like to resolve this soon.

    Thanks!

    Andrzej,

Have you come across anything that’s helped here?

    Thanks!

    Hey Guys,

Unfortunately I had no time to investigate and to expedite a solution for our client, I switched over to another method for listing custom post types.

Sorry I could not help you.
