Custom Post Types stopped working after 1.0 and 1.0.1 upgrade

    I use a theme with various custom post types to manage slider images, events, and more and since Polylang 1.0 came out and I upgraded, the custom post types are not working as they did before.

    The site is bi-lingual and it worked smoothly, showing *most* of the post types in the correspoding language. I say most because the slider images always came up in one language, and I was trying to fix it while the upgrade came out.

    Now the theme shows every entry of the custom post types (for example the events) in both languages, no matter which language Im using to display the site. When I add a new entry to the Events post_type, there’s no box to add the secondary language to it like it did before, or like it does for Pages and Posts.

    Im trying to downgrade to version 0.9.8 (was there a 0.9.9 though?) but I cannot find it yet. If anyone has a copy, would you mind sharing it? or better yet, if there’s a fix to the custom post types, that would be awesome!

    FYI found the link to download 0.9.8 .

    Im downgrading, but I’d still appreciate if anybody has a fix to the custom post types issue for 1.0 and above. ??

    Yes things have changed because automatic translations of some post types was OK for some installs and not for some others. So now it’s up to you to choose which post type to translate or not.

    Look at the bottom of the languages settings. You should have check options for your custom post types.

    Thank you! Im still trying to make the slider work in both languages, but I will open a differnt topic for it if I can’t make it work.
