I posted this on the dynamic pricing support but have had no reply. Perhaps it needs to be posted here.

I can’t seem to get the Dynamic pricing tool to work with the Custom Product Addons tool. After adding both plugins, I would expect to see the unit price on the product page change to reflect the discount added and quantity selected. More importantly, I would expect the totals box to reflect the discount but it just shows the original price?

Something Like the below or even without the extra ‘Discount’ line, just the Product Price adjusting accordingly:

    Options Price:£50.00
    Product Price:£210.00
    Discount Amount: -£10.00
    Total: £250.00

Presuming I have not found the correct setting, please help?

    Thanks.

  • Hi,

The discounts on quantity will be take effect from the product page.It can only be shown on the cart page. So your requirement is not possible. Sorry.

    Thank you

Surely there must be something you can do, they are your plugins, right? One would assume as a developer you would match up two plugins which are quite clearly meant to run together. It would be a massive benefit for your sales don’t you think? Come on, what will it take for you to work your magic? I have told you what needs doing?

    Hi,

Sorry it is not possible to do as of now.

I misspelled the sentence in the previous reply “The discounts on quantity will be take effect from the product page”. And actually it is “The discounts on quantity will not be take effect from the product page”. So that we can’t calculate the discounts in the product page for the discount types like this. So it is almost impossible to add another column for discounts in the product page.

    Thank you.

Sorry Ashin and thank you for your time on this, but I am failing to understand stand how the plugin cannot calculate items that are already displayed on the product page.

    90 (Quantity) x 1.60 (Price Rule Unit Price) + £50.00 (Options Price) = £194.00

All of which are shown on the product page?

    Thanks
