• Hi,

Is there a way to use a custom HTML page for the product page ? For example I would be interested to modify the tab layout but unfortunately could not find a way. There is a way to modify the position of elements in the custom layout but we cannot include tabs.

Thank you for your answer !

  • Hi Diego,

Can you give us an example of what custom changes you want to apply?

    Hi,

Sorry for the long delay ! I totally forgot.

For example, would be to modify the order of the tab for the Tabbed Style and change content of different tabs.

For example, how could we integrate tabs into custom design in the styling page ?

    Hi Diego,

There’s no way to add tabs to the custom product page, unfortunately.

If you’re using the tabbed product page type, then you can go to the “Product Page” area in the plugin admin and, there, you can add new custom tabs that will show on your product page and specify the content that you want to show in those tabs. You can also set which tab you want to show as the first/starting tab on your product page.

    Thank you for your answer.

Do you plan to make this more customizable in a near future ? Or should I modify the code myself ?

    Best,

I do not plan on making it more customizable. if you could modifythe code i would appreciate it.

Ok thank you very much for your answer.

I’m concerned about future updates that might erase my modifications. 1) Would it be the case ? 2) If yes, how can I avoid this ?

Thank you for your help !

    Hi @diego999

I’m not sure what culinden was referring to, but he doesn’t represent our plugin or business.

It’s unlikely that we will add the ability for custom tabs to the custom product page, as it does not fit with the layout or design of that. If you want this functionality, we’d definitely suggest making use of the Tabbed or Shop Style product page type. While they may not be as customizable in terms of layout and positioning, you’ll find that they’re actually quite flexible, responsive and have a lot of options.

If you modify the core plugin code, it will indeed be overwritten if you update the plugin. There’s no way to avoid this.
