Hi @steblo94 ,
So I have skimmed through all the settings and your problem description again. I can confirm that there is no issue with our plugin. It’s just a problem of the composite configurations.
Here are some points that your composite should be adapted to:
- Each bottle contain a lid/cap and the glass as in this image https://prnt.sc/wtr8EBsDfU4Z, right? So your composite should be comprised of two parts: caps and glass bottles.
- The 20 quantity setup for the main composite will always be multiplied with the quantity of chosen subproducts. So you should start your composite with quantity for the main composite as 1 and change the quantity of subproducts to 20 at minimum.
I suggest that you set up your composite with 2 components:
- Component 1: Caps, Min=Max=20, Multiple selection: Yes, Custom quantity: Yes >> so customers can choose as many colors for the caps as they want, but they must choose a total quantity of 20 caps for this component.
- Component 2: Bottles, Quantity= 20, Single selection, Custom quantity: No >> This will fix the number of glass bottles to match with 20 caps chosen above.
If you have many choices for the bottle shapes, you can add them all to this component and enable the “Multiple selection” as well as “Custom quantity” as in the component 1, but remember to set up Min=Max=20 for this component.
So each composite will be a combination of 20 caps and 20 glasses, that should be 20 bottles, right?
Now for the main composite, just let customers to choose the normal quantity 1,2,3 corresponding to 20,40,60 bottles in an order. This way also makes sure that the stock of subproducts: caps and glasses are managed properly. It’s beneficial if you include some description in the composite for customers to know that they are purchasing a combo of 20 caps and glasses.
Best regards.
