Custom Range for number filter

Is it possible to implement a ‘range slider’ for number fields, similar to the distance slider? Or even a free entry for min/max in the range?

I’m using a filter that filters by ‘age’ and it would be nice to be able to just use a slider to filter by ‘age 5-7’ or ‘5-9’ rather than have to have dozens of checkboxes for ‘4 to 6’ and ‘7 to 9’ etc etc, or at least be able to let the user enter the min/max of the range for the filter, if that makes sense.

Would love a solution for that! Whether that’s a built in setting for the plugin or a snippet that modifies it…it’s literally the only thing holding me back from using GD on this project. I’ve used it on my two previous and been great, would love to continue using for this one….but lack of this feature makes it a huge UX pain for the user when selecting these ranges.
