Custom redirect instead of Error 404

Hi,
it would be nice to have the possibility to manually set a redirect page in case somebody tries to access wp-login.php (ie. redirect to localhost) instead of showing an error404 page.
It would be nice to save on bandwith and server resources (over 50% of my http404 are caused by malicious wp-login.php access), because my error404 page has a nice background, some css, and I’d rather save those server resources for “REAL” users and not bots.
