Custom Registration Data

    I’ve added a custom registration form for a user level and it looks great. However, I’m trying to do 3 things:

    1. As an admin, see the custom fields I had them fill out during registration when I view the user’s profile in the WP back-end (or front-end for that matter)

    2. When they register, can that user be used as a woocommerce user as well? (so they won’t be prompted to create a new account since they are logged in as the user level for the form)

    3. When I have them fill out the registration form (https://mwstarley.wpengine.com/register/), is it possible for the address fields to populate their woocommerce profile’s shipping address automatically as well?

    Hi @bsmalldesign,

    1. You can see this fields on the front end on the user profile, however, make sure that you have the same fields on the profile form.

    2. I’m not sure what do you mean by “can that user be used as a woocommerce user as well”? They won’t need to login.

    3. It is possible using our WooCommerce extension.

    Thanks! However, for #3, I bought the extension and reached out to premium support and they said that it would require custom programming. But then I tried creating a field with the same custom meta as the shipping address’ ID/title for the woocommerce user fields and it seemed to work. Is that the best way to do it?

    Ok thanks – we should be good for now – I rebuilt the fields for registration to map to the woocommerce shipping custom meta and it worked. I’ll let you know if we have any other issues/questions. Thanks!
