Custom registration rorm with drop down button and extra fields

  • Hello guys, I’m sort of a newbie here and I appreciate if you help me out here.
    I would like to create a registration form for students with custom fields. For instance, a drop down button that prompts students which class they are in(class1,class2,class3) and another field that asks for their student id number. In addition, I want to create a file (php, a table in database,…what do you suggest?) that has each student name , id number, and class name. When a student fills out those fields, wordpress should match the token name and id with the pre-defined file.

    Once they are registered, wordpress should redirect them to their own page and they should not be able to access other class group.
