So I created an event and checked the Repeat box. Then I choose Custom and select my various dates and everything works great.

The problem is, when I edit that event, and click on the dates to bring up the Custom calendar interface… all my dates are there, but they’re all one day off. So if the custom dates listed are January 5, 7, and 9, when I click to bring up the custom calendar, the dates that are highlighted are January 4, 6 and 8.

It makes editing a royal pain. If I have 15 dates for that repeating event and need to delete 1, I first have to move all 15 dates forward one day before I can edit. Is there a way to fix this??

  • I’ve had this same issue for several months, and only brief responses from the Timely staff without a fix. This is the screenshot.

It appears to happen on Custom tab under Repeat as well as Exclude. I always have to go back to all previous months to move it a date forward before I add my new date and save.

Still no fix in the past 4 months. I’ve even installed the latest on a clean WordPress site, with no other plugins, and still have the same issue. It’s a solid plugin, besides this issue. The work around of going back and adjusting previous dates to add one is bothersome.

Same issue, dates get shifted back one day when editing a recurring repeat/exclude entry. Other than this one issue, solid product!

We too are having the same issue.

Works fine when the event is first created, but when editing a custom repeat or exclusion the days are shifted one day earlier.

    Hi,

In the next week, we will release a new version and this bug will be fixed. We truly appreciate your patience in the meantime.

    Thanks,
    Ben

Thanks Ben! That is great news. ??

Just installed 2.3.5, still did not fix issue:

I tried it with a newly created event as well, still with no luck. There wasn’t even a hint at a fix in the change log for it. =(

Just installed 2.3.7 and still seeing the issue with custom updates being one day back. Each time you go into modify a custom value, it backs it up another day. Any news on a fix for this one?

Unfortunately this has been an ongoing bug that has been promised to be addressed but has yet to be fixed.

This is very annoying when you have events that span many years.

Any news on an update to address this bug? I don’t remember this being an issue last year. It one of the previous updates break the “exclude” feature on repeating events?

How is the fix for this coming along? Cant wait for this to work again like it should.

We are running version 2.3.8 and have been experiencing the same issue with both recurring and excluded events. Creating a recurring event is no issue, love that it can be an entirely custom series! However when we go back and add additional dates, the calendar backs everything up a day.

Additionally if we’ve excluded dates and need to change any of them, making any changes to excluded dates also backs up all excluded dates by one day.

With many groups/events for our church and school this is a BIG problem. Please let us know the ETA for a fix to be in place!

Yes, please let us know when a fix is in place, this is INCREDIBLY frustrating.
