    Hi,

I have created custom role who doesn’t have access to dashboard, Those custom role users can be logged using WP 2FA authentication. Wordfence sends those users login as administrators. I dont want to receive the false administrator notification, is there anything in settings to fix this issue.

    Hi @vinodnaik1989

Custom user roles can cause conflicts with our plugin so there aren’t any settings in Wordfence to avoid this.

    Hi,

Then what is the solution to fix it. We cannot send false alerts to admins.

    Hi @vinodnaik1989

    Thank you for the update.

There isn’t a way to fix this unless you create a different custom non-administrator role that has the same capabilities as the current custom administrator role.

    Hi @vinodnaik1989

With regards my last reply, to see if we can at least replicate it for future possible functionality in the plugin can you let me know how you created the custom role and also send your Wordfence diagnostics report. Please go to the top of the “Diagnostics” tab on the Wordfence “Tools” page. There will be a “SEND REPORT BY EMAIL” button to send the diagnostics report. Enter wftest [at] wordfence [dot] com as the email and vinodnaik1989 as the forum username please.

Once you have emailed me the diagnostics report can you reply here to let me know that it has been sent. This is important in the unlikely event that your installation of WordPress is having an issue with sending mail.

    Hi,

I have send the diagnostics to email which you shared.

The role which i created is non administrator role only that role can login using WP2fa authentication. That role user cannot have any dashboard access.

    Hi @vinodnaik1989

    Thank you for the update.

How did you create the custom user role as I don’t see a plugin installed for modifying user roles and capabilities?
