No longer does the “List View” option work in the custom settings page. I have a custom setting page which relates to a custom post type. It’s set multiple select and “List View”. The “List View” option doesn’t work at all. It doesn’t allow you to show any custom post type that is active. The problem is that now I have settings pages that can’t be edited by clients. This means until this issue is resolved I have to enter all the client’s information because they can’t. HELP – FREAKING OUT

Sorry to hear you’re having this issue. I know you jumped on our Slack Report after hours.

This sounds like you’re having a plugin conflict (or a theme conflict). Did you recently update anything else besides Pods? Check your browser for the Developer Console and look to see if you’re seeing any javascript errors.

Deactivate other plugins to see if one of those rectifies the issue. You can use the Health Check plugin to do this safely without impacting the client’s front-end of their website.

If none of those resolve your issue, please open a Bug Report so we can work with you directly and try to replicate the issue you’re having.

    My sincere apology,

    After activating/deactivating/testing custom settings page… many times…

There was some other plugin that disrupted several things. PODS is working again. My life force has been restored.

    Thank you again Jim True,

Yep, always look for the plugin conflicts. This is always my own troubleshooting process:

Pods Admin, Settings, Clear Cache (because database transients can get clogged)
Check your Javascript/Developer Console for errors.
Start Troubleshooting other plugins, especially if it used to work and you did no changes.
    Start Troubleshooting Theme
Panic (hah, it never does any good to panic)
Go to your Last Known Working Backup
Make a Copy of your Server and Troubleshoot over there

Glad to hear you’re working again!

Thank you again for advice. Your advice on Pods.io and other places I’ve googled has helped me a great deal.

    See you on the Internet.
