Custom sidebars custom menu widget not shown to the page it supposed to be…
-
Custom sidebars plugin’s widgets(custom menu) is not showing up on specific page of Twenty thirteen theme. The secondary widget area of the theme has two widgets, one, page title and another, custom menu of the page and it is the menu of the sub-pages belong to the main page.
Two identical sites with different language caption has same problem and both site were updated from WP version 3.X something.
This page title widget and custom menu widget was created to replace too many sub menus fulling down from navigation menu and make those sub-menus belong to main page to be shown dynamically on the page when main menu was selected from the navigation menu bar.
It seems this is the only way to handle this situation on WordPress menu system.
Two visible problems are occurred out of blue.
The first one is that accidental deletion and recreation of the custom menu widget resulted the disappearance of the page title widget and custom menu widget from the page.
The second one is that newly created custom menu widget on new page does not show up to the corresponding page it supposed to be shown up with page tile widget. Even page tile widget of the new page is not shown up.
The more serious thing is that I haven’t made this custom menu widget or page title widget and it was made and upgraded from WordPress 3.X something version.
Any change on custom menu widget of each menu page which has main navigation menu is virtually impossible under the circumstances and it is currently destroying whole navigation structure of the web site.
The custom sidebars plugin’s sidebar widget happens to be dynamic custom menu widget and if it is not showing up properly, you would never access to the groups of custom menu pages belong to the main menu.
This is serious error or bug that can be labeled as critical.
Any idea?
