Custom Sidebars plug-in has a conflict with the theme builder tools – can’t edit

    We have used the “Custom Sidebars” plug-in for a long time but just now are experiencing a conflict with our theme.

    We use a theme called ‘Ultra’ created by Themify.me which adds builder tools in the wp-admin and they work much like WordPress Gutenburg tools.

    With the latest round of updates made, if I try to edit the homepage on the backend, the builder tabs do not open and I cannot edit the page.

    If I turn off the “Custom Sidebars” plug-in I can edit the page. I need the custom sidebars plug-in which has been a main stay on the site, so I am hoping for a resolution.

    I have our theme provider trying to figure this out, but also need to see you you can offer support from your end.

    I found this using the browser debug tools on the control tab with the backend admin for the home page open.

    I’m sorry to hear that CustomSidebars is causing this issue on your site.

    Unfortunately, Themify themes are paid and we don’t have access to the latest version and one that we have is outdated and it worked well with CustomSidebars.
    So we can’t test this on our side ??

    But if Themify developers will be able to pinpoint this issue in something in CustomSidebars and they can provide info for us then our developer can work something out.
    Let us know what will they say.

    As we are digging deeper it appears this is actually a conflict caused by Yoast SEO, so we will reach out to them. Thank you for your help. This ticket can be closed.
