  • I had the same problem.

    1. I was just moving the code in the wp-config.php a little bit up
    2. I was saving the Page /wp-admin/options-media.php again.

    now it is working.

    Same problem with wp-config.

Works when place code to functions.php in your theme ??

I’ve just done some testing and that setting should work as long as you enter it above the line that reads:

/* That’s all, stop editing! Happy blogging. */

I’m updating the readme file to remind others.

Also, I’m in the process of adding a setting to settings-media so that you can change this without making modifications to your wp-config.php

This is not working for me. I thought this was supposed to automatically upload the images and they are enlarged upon uploading. Am I missing something? My images are uploading in the original small size.

    Hi Meevi,

This plugin only resizes the images to smaller dimensions. Say from a digital camera 8000 x 8000px down to 1000 x 1000 to save server space, reduce the time it takes to upload your pictures and reduce the time it takes for users to download your pictures.
