Custom Skins

I’m finding the CSS code for the plug-in a little confusing! Basically, what I’m currently using the ‘blue’ skin plug-in, but want to style to modify the colour, font-size/type etc.

I’ve tried copying some of the code into my child style.css sheet, but it doesn’t have any impact. However, I’ve found that if I change the same code in the plug-in files, then it does have the desired effect.

This would lead me to believe that the plug-in simply overwrites any code I place in my stylesheet, and that I may need to start looking at my .php files?

Does anyone have any advice on this issue? It would be very much appreciated ?? I had a look through this board, but couldn’t find any threads on this issue, so apologies if I’ve missed any.
