custom slug missing on staff pages in admin

I don’t know what I did, and it’s been a while since this was updated – but the custom slug I added to appear on the staff member pages has disappeared. I used to to link their country’s page after looking at their staff page. Some of my staff members have the slug imbeded somewhere, but not visible to me and some do not.
Where do you add custom slugs in the code? Thanks in advance for the assistance.
