Custom social description not working on existing posts or articles

My Yoast SEO plugin’s custom social sharing title, description and image only show up for new blogs, posts and articles. It does not work for existing blogs, posts and articles. Also, twitter sharing only display the content title not the customized title, description and image. Is there a fix to these issues?
