• Hello,

We are using Custom Start Date for WooCommerce Subscriptions plugin.
We set start date for subscription on Jan 1st so anyone can sign up without doing payment but still it need to save card so subscription can be charged on Jan 1.

Issue is when someone try to make order without payment it failed because first time it try to connect card to customer account. So all need to try it two times to successfully subscribe.

Can we have any solution to this? Can we do anything so it can be subscribed successfully at first time?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi @jayana

Can you please provide a staging site in test mode where this can be re-created?

The plugin is designed to work with synchronized and trial subscriptions where payment is not take upfront.

    Thanks,

    Hi @jayana

You should update the plugin to the latest version which is 3.3.34.

I see you have a Javascript error on your checkout page related to the jQuery datepicker. Here is that error:

Uncaught TypeError: $(...).datepicker is not a function
        at HTMLDocument.<anonymous> (js.js?ver=1.0.0:224:68)
        at e (jquery.min.js?ver=3.6.1:2:30038)
        at t (jquery.min.js?ver=3.6.1:2:30340)

That error is interfering with the WooCommerce checkout process, resulting in the page refreshing before the subscription payment can be processed.

    Kind Regards,

That error is no issue for sure.. I am able to remove that error but still checkout failed…
“The provided PaymentMethod cannot be attached. To reuse a PaymentMethod, you must attach it to a Customer first.”

can you please test further? You can use stripe test card info.

    Thank you.

Do you have any custom code on your site that is using the Stripe plugin filters?
