I’m using, with success, Awesome Support basic plugin. Now I’ve installed the “Custom Status” add-on, in a free version offered by AS itself.
But after the installation (I have a multi-site WP built with Divi Theme) I keep on getting this message:
“Awesome Support: Custom Status requires Awesome Support to be active. Please activate the core plugin first.”
I’ve even reinstalled both plugins from scratch, but I get always the same error message, while Awesome Supports works fine.
    Any Idea?
    Thanks in advance

Hi – you’re using multi-site – is the core awesomesupport plugin network activated? If so, you need to activate it at the individual site level, not the network level.

    Hi.
I have both plugins/addons activated either in the “main” WP dashboard, either in the website dashboard.

I’ve taken to pics and put them in a GoogleDrive of mine:
In this pic you could see the main dashboard (it’s in Italian, but I think it’s clearly understandable):

In this other pic you could see the two plug-ins activated and the error message too at the top

Do you need other tech info? I’m the admin, so I could extract the info needed, if any
    Thanks

Hi – I’m trying to duplicate this issue here. I suspect its something to do with Multisite since no one else is reporting it and presumbaly they’re not using multisite. Will check back in with you once I find out more.

    Hi:

We’ve been unable to duplicate this issue even on a multi-site install. It looks like we’ll need to dig a little deeper into the issue. Do you have a staging or test site where this issue shows up? If so, can you turn off all plugins other than AS and Custom Status? Don’t forget to take a backup first and to turn off plugins at both the network level and the site level.

Sorry about this but so far we haven’t been able to duplicate it here so we have to work with the assumption that there’s a conflict somewhere that we need identify.

    Thanks very much!

Oh, one more question – are you activating the plugin on the site with id # 1 or another one?

    OK.
I have to organize the test (stopping other plugins), maybe on Tuesday.

We have a multi-site installation with (currently) only one site.

Here the list of plugins we have (A Google drive folder with snapshots):

I keep you updated after the test.

    Hi.
I’ve migrated to a new wordpress website, not a “MULTI-SITE” one, and the Custom Status plugin now works.
I was not able to detect which plugin, in my previous multi-site installation, gives problems to AW support, and I suspect it was AW Support itself…
Keep me updated of any new info about this issue. I “close” the ticket but I connot consider it as resolved.
    Thanks for your support.
