Custom Status with automatic custom emails

    Hi i run a successful online website i want to change my theme and ecommerce shop plugin… i customised a copy of jigoshop over 5 years ago to enable it to do what i wanted it too and it works well however i think jigoshop is old hat now plus i cant update if i do ill loose the customisation ive made,

    after some research on themes and ecommerce im almost settled to install woocommerce on my site i just to check it can do what i need it too, which i believe it can very easily but im asking for help if anyone knows how i can achieve what i need id be grateful for the advice, im happy to pay for pro versions or paid plugins with lifetime subscriptions etc, i want the functionality of what i need but of course allowing for regular updates with out interfering with the customisation.

    1) i need to make 2 custom statuses ie other than order completed or pending etc
    2) i need to be able to attach a email to the statuses and for it to automatically send the email when i change the status.

    I know this is is very easy todo im limited on time i need to update the website before my holiday period is over by 4th January so have a week to sort out i do get alot of traffic so need it to be done quickly and as painless as poss lol

    You can use a plugin like:

    https://www.woocommerce.com/products/woocommerce-order-status-manager/

    There are others on www.ads-software.com/plugins too depending on what you need.

    The above plugin can attach emails to order statuses.
