    Hi Team,

I created a custom post type , a custom taxonomy and associated custom post type with custom taxonomy ONLY.

When I open custom taxonomy page of my custom post type in admin area it shows me all the categories in my WordPress database. Should not it be showing custom taxonomies associated with custom post type only on categories page?

Please let me know if I am missing any configuration step.

    Regards,
    Ankur Khurana

Are you referring to the terms list for the taxonomy? What taxonomy slug did you choose?

Thanks for the response. I sorted out the issue today morning. I used standard category as the slug of the custom category, changing it to custom category slug resolved the issue.

Gotcha. One of my feature enhancement ideas is warnings about reserved/existing slugs so that we can prevent this in the future. Just hasn’t been done yet.

    Thanks for the followup.
