Custom Taxonomy Template not working

  • Hi,

    I’m using Polylang 1.1.70 and I’m having a problem with a custom taxonomy archive page. I created a custom taxonomy and I included a taxonomy-{taxonomy_name}.php template in my theme.
    However when I go to the taxonomy and click on a term to see the archive of that term I get the default index.php template. But when I either deactivate Polylang or when I activate languages and translations for that custom taxonomy I am able to see the right template.
    But I don’t want to activate translations for that taxonomy, is there any way to make the template work while polylang is active?

    It’s the same for me, with the Polylang 1.7.12 and WP 4.3.1
    The template taxonomy-custom.php is not used for the taxonomy which are not translated, but if I make a archive.php template with a var dump of get_queried_object(), I found the Polylang’s current language object.
