Custom taxonomy to fill in the locations automaticaly

Hello guys,

I came across Geo Mashup yesterday and I really like the tool. Just discovered it but it looks awsome. I really like the fact we can modify template files !

I tried to find a similar topic but I don’t think the question was ever asked. If so, sorry about this.

My question is more out of curiosity than a need.

The WP custom fields can be used to fill the location in GeoMashup. Is there a way to do the same with custom taxonomy.

I use them to be able to sort out post by their location (country only). I read it was more efficient than custom field.

That’d be nice to use that same data to provide the location for the map.

Maybe the trick exists already but haven’t understood it yet.
