    Dear Sirs,
We used Gutenverse with Restance for a simple real estate site. We have the following problem:
    – We would like to use a single template for all blog posts, with a photo gallery and a couple of text blocks with icons/buttons.
    – We customized the Single Posts template of Restance in Gutenverse: All blog posts should look like this: https://pulsphuketa.com/2024/02/28/sovremennaya-villa-na-bangtao/
    – However, when we create a new blog post and select “Default” (= Single Posts) template in the Post Attributies field, we get a new post with almost identical content to the previous post (see the link above), only Featured Image and Description are different: https://pulsphuketa.com/2024/03/12/stilnaya-villa-s-bassejnom-bangtao/. – – If we change images in the Gallery and texts in the Property Details block with icons, images and texts in all previous posts will be changed too. The reason for that is Gutenverse only allows changes in templates instead of individual blog posts based on the same template.

Our question: how can we create a template for Single Posts in Gutenverse, which can be used for multiple posts + will allow us to change images and texts of each individual post, without automatically changing content of all previous posts, based on the same template?

Or do we need to create custom templates for each blog post, instead of using the standard Single Posts template of Gutenverse?

    Hello @pulsphuketa,
If you want each post to have different content, then don’t add that element to the single post template. Instead, add it within the post. For more clarity, try to find the post content block in your single post template. This post content will later be replaced with all the content from each post. The blocks whose content will change when inside a post are in the Gutenverse Post category. Blocks outside of this category cannot yet use dynamic content.

    Hi,

You can also refer to this video.

This is an example of how you can make a new template. Changes in the template will be applied to every page or post that uses it, So the answer to your question is: No, you cannot make a static template for one use only.

But, WordPress has another feature called pattern. unlike templates, you can create a pattern that can be used on different pages or posts and make them different in each one of them. Just make sure you uncheck the synced option when creating the pattern.

In the video, you will see that I put Post Content block on the new template I created. The post block will display the current content of the post/page. to summarise, anything you want to be different in different posts, put them in a pattern, and anything you want to have the same for every post, put them in the template.

Thank you, we have solved the the problem by using blog posts as property pages (with the Default/Single Posts template). In addition, we use the Gallery pattern in the Gutenverse Page Builder to create a custom HTML code for each property gallery. After that, we copy this custom Gallery code from Gutenverse and insert it in a blog post via the WP dashboard.
