Custom Template not working

  • Hi,
    I’ve been trying to set up a simple feed page, but when I set the hungryfeed shortcode to use a template, none of the edits I make to the template work.

    For instance…
    Using this short code:

    [hungryfeed url=”https://www.bing.com/news?q=Technology+News&FORM=NSBABR&format=rss” template=”1″]

    With template 1 edited like this:

    <div class=”hungryfeed_item”>
    <h3>{{title}}</h3>
    </div>

    Nothing changes…the default template with description,author, and date is still displayed.

    Also, whenever I save my settings in Hungryfeed settings page, I get a 404 error…maybe the two issues are related?

    The theme I am using is “Sydney”, and I have tried disabling plugins to see if there is a conflict. So far, nothing has worked.

    Any ideas?
