custom template page

  • I have created a custom template named “template-awakeningpage.php” and uploaded it to the wp-content/themes/mantra file. Why won’t it show up in the drop down menu when I go into edit a page?

    I am trying to have a different header on this page and still have it easy for the owner to edit the site. Suggestions?
