Custom Templates for Speakers (etc.)

Hi,

I am trying to figure out how to create a custom template for the speakers, since that post type does not allow for me to select one. I would like to use the “Featured Image” and insert it into the speaker profile page. I also want to remove the Comments Section (and hopefully) the “Posted by” metadata at the bottom of the page.

Any suggestions?
