Custom Text With FeedWordpres

  • I have a blog feed city and I am looking at setting up the following

    When we put a variable in the feed site called [city] we want the receiver to inject their city in the post.

    For example…If you are looking for [city] Honda dealers, call us

    Should be after feedwordpress imports the post to be

    If you are looking for San Francisco Honda dealers, call us

    How is this done?

  • Not with FeedWordpress I’d say. FWP just gets posts and puts them unto your blog, nothing more. If you need to translate [city] codes ( when loading the posts into the theme? ) I would look at adding a shortcode for that.
