Custom theme-comments.php file

    In the functions.php file on line 21 there is require_once(dirname(__FILE__) . “/includes/theme-comments.php”); //Theme comment functions, is there a way to undeclare this and add my own custom theme-comments.php in my child theme functions.php?

  • Not without editing that line, no.

    But many of the functions are plugabble in the child theme (and plenty are hooked in place so they can be removed and replaced).

    Which functionality are you trying to customize?
