Custom Theme Development for Bilingual WP Site

    Hi Guys,

    I’m building a custom WP site actually this would be my first bilingual WP site.
    The question is how to wrap hard coded string of text in my templates to allow plugins like Polylang or better WPML to fetch the data and translate to another language?

    At the moment if I will pull the data from the posts or pages using function such as ‘get_title()’ or ‘get_content()’ the data will be translated easily, because the WP functions are used. But not all template content is written at pages or posts level. Some texts strings are simply hardcoded in the template, so is there an WP function that allows me to wrap those lines and pass the data to the WPML for example?
